Just in case you're interested in some of the recipes from my page but own different brands of oils, here's a helpful chart!
Here's another detailed chart that shows ingredients of each blend.
I am planning on making a batch of this in the next few days. You can use it on your hands, on shopping carts, appliances, wherever you feel is needed. I plan on keeping this in the kids' diaper bags, one at work, and one in the van. This is safe for kids too. Rebecca, from Camp Wander, rubbed her eyes after sanitizing and there was no burn. Here's the recipe:
Looking for a natural, antimicrobial, no-scrub tub & toilet cleaner?? Here's a great recipe from Camp Wander!

With Ebola now in the U.S., EV-D68 & other seasonal sicknesses among us, it's a good idea to get stocked up on some good antibiotic EOs to prevent it in your household. Oregano, Shield, Rosemary, Lavender, Respire and Melaleuca are the best oils to have lying around. Make sure to diffuse your Shield & Respire blends. Shield will help prevent any sicknesses and Respire will help if any infection gets into the lungs and it will open up the airways.
Eucalyptus is the new Item of the Week! This is a great oil to go on sale during the cold & flu season. It's used in cough & throat medicines and some ointments. It helps open up airways to breathe easier.
**Spark Naturals Eucalyptus essential oil comes from Eucalyptus radiata, which is more easily assimilated and less likely to irritate the skin than the common Eucalyptus globulus. Eucalyptus radiata has a chemical composition that is somewhat similar to Melaleuca, and it is commonly used by aromatherapists as an immuno-stimulant, a decongestant inhalation, a local analgesic, and in many applications for its strong bactericidal and anti-viral action.
This week's Item of the Week is Carrot Oil!! Carrot Seed Essential Oil is clear, yellowish-orange, and smells sweet and slightly spicy with a mild carrot scent. It is high in beta-carotene and is known as a nourishing, restorative and revitalizing oil. It has been used to stimulate skin elasticity and tone and is good for all skin types but especially favored for those with normal or dry, wrinkly, or sagging skin. Carrot seed oil has also been believed to have a tonic action on the liver and gall-bladder and has traditionally been used to support a healthy response to the symptoms of eczema, psoriasis, and ulcerative skin conditions.
I think I will get some to see what it does for my mommy marks!

Tonight I am going to try a remedy that Camp Wander came up with for my boss. He's a runner and is starting to get shin splints.
30 drops Birch
10 drops White Fir
10 drops Frankincense
Fractionated Coconut Oil
Put all the EOs in a 5ml roller bottle and top it off with the Fractionated Coconut Oil. Apply topically as needed. You can also add it to Camp Wander's Naked Salve or any carrier oil of your choice!
Here's more information from Camp Wander on Birch EO and pain remedies:
I will let you know how it works in a few days!
***Update: My boss put this on his leg that's hurting this morning. About 5 minutes after he put it on, he commented on how it's already feeling better! I'll keep updating!
***Update: My boss said that he didn't wake up in the middle of the night in pain like usual since he put this on before bed. It's working great!
Hiccups? Dab Peppermint on the back of your neck on each side of your spinal cord.
Runny Nose? Swipe a drop of Lemon down each side of the nose to dry it up. *Avoid the sun afterward to prevent sunburn*
Drowsiness? Combine Peppermint & Wild Orange, apply to the back of your neck and inhale the oil that's left on your hands.
Itchy, Irritated Eyes? Dab Lavender with a bit of carrier oil on the facial bones surrounding your eyes (careful to keep the oil away from your eyes). If applying to children, make sure they don't rub their eyes until the oil is absorbed.
Allergies? Mix up equal parts of Lavender, Lemon & Peppermint (nature's antibiotic). Apply to the bottoms of the feet in the morning & at night. It's also recommended to diffuse. For easy use, you can buy Spark Naturals L.L.P. Allergy Blend.
Ear Ache/Infection? Combine 2 drops of Basil or Melaleuca with a little carrier oil and rub the rim of the ear, behind the ear and just inside. Apply several times a day. Never drop essential oils into the ear.
Trouble breathing due to congestion or asthma? Apply Respire blend on the chest, then cup one hand against palm with residual Respire blend on it, creating an "inhaler" and suck the vapors from the palm into chest for quick relief.
Bad Breath? A drop of Peppermint on your tongue will help make you fresh again!
Freshen Laundry? Add a few drops of your favorite EOs onto a clean rag and toss it into the dryer with wet laundry.
Smelly Carpet? Add 15 drops of your favorite EOs to a cup of baking soda or cornstarch, mix well and let sit for a day. Sprinkle on carpet, let sit for an hour and vacuum the stink away!
Athlete's Foot? Melaleuca works wonders! Apply neat to affected areas, twice a day.
Toe Fungus? Melaleuca is at it again! Use neat, dab affected toe with a saturated q-tip, applying to the surface of the toenail in the morning and at night.
Warts or Skin Tags? Apply in the morning & night. If using Oregano, use a q-tip to dab one drop on the affected area. This will give you good control of application. Oregano is a hot oil, so you won't want to spread it around. Skin tags should fall off in a couple of weeks.
**For kids: Lemon works wonderfully too! Apply in the morning & night and don't cover with a bandaid, it's important to let it breathe. Also, it's convenient to put the EO in a roll-on bottle so kids can't apply themselves. Again, careful of too much sun after application.
Cellulite? Pour a bottle of Grapefruit into a 4oz bottle of Fractionated Coconut Oil and rub into problem areas after the shower and bath. You'll smell divine and your skin will be so soft!
Diaper Rash? Mix up some diaper spray. 18oz water, 1 tsp organic body wash, 4 drops Melaleuca & 4 drops Lavender. All Purpose Healing Salve is a wonder also!
Sanitizing Wipes: Make you own by cutting a roll of paper towel in half or use store-bought baby wipes. Remove wipes from container, squeeze out excess moisture and let them dry out for a few hours. Slowly add alcohol free Witch Hazel with 6 drops of each Lavender & Lemon and pour over the wipes.
Dogs with Fleas? Drip a couple of drops of Melaleuca on the back of the collar. Or, tie a bandanna with a few drops of Melaleuca around your dog's neck and watch fleas flee!
Dog with Ear Infection? 1 drop of Melaleuca and carrier oil on a cotton ball, wipe inside the ear several times a day.
Dog with Sunburned Nose? Dab a little Lavender with carrier oil on their nose.
Muscle Ache? 1 part Amend Blend with 1 part Fractionated Coconut Oil as a penetrating, pain relieving massage oil, add a drop of Birch or Wintergreen for extra strength.
Mice? Place cotton balls with Peppermint in problem areas.
Fever? Place a few drops of Peppermint mixed with a carrier oil and apply to the torso. It can drop the body temperature 3 degrees in minutes!
Burns? A drop of Lavender will immediately stop the pain and tissue damage.
Heartburn? A couple of drops of Peppermint in a small glass of milk or almond milk will help.
Thank you, Camp Wander for making these All Purpose Remedies!

I use lavender daily when I put Izzy to bed. I have a spray bottle of a few drops of lavender & filled the rest up with water. A few sprays on her bed and she's good to go! I've also used a drop of lavender with a carrier oil (coconut oil) and rubbed it on Theo's tummy when constipated. It works :)
I've just started using a couple of drops of melaleuca in my handful of shampoo to help with dandruff.

Do you ever have a tooth or gums that bother you? Just have some dental work done, or even burn or bite your tongue? I saw this recipe today from Patti's Place on FB for some dental rub.
You can even use this on kids. I'll stick with just clove eo for the wee little ones for now, but good to keep in mind for when they get bigger.
This recipe calls for Clove, which is a numbing agent, Myrrh, which helps for healing, Melaleuca, for antibacterial, & Peppermint, for soothing and then a carrier oil.

For $15.99/month, you can enroll in Spark Natural's Oil of the Month Club. I haven't done this yet, but I think it's time to start. You'll receive a 15ml bottle of the oil of the month (you can see the year's oil schedule before), you get free shipping and tax. Most oils are more than $15.99 per ml, so this is a great deal! You can cancel at any time. That'd be awesome if rose essential oil was on the list!
Diffusing is one method of using your essential oils. There are all sorts of blends you can use and you can experiment to come up with your own. Pictured is the Mirage diffuser from Spark Naturals. It has the longest run-time, has auto-shut off, and doesn't heat the oils. Heating oils can break down their properties. Here's the link for this diffuser if you're interested. I'm hoping I won't need this recipe for a while longer, but I'll be ready when it happens!
This recipe uses clary sage, marjoram, ginger, geranium, & cinnamon bark with fractionated coconut oil or almond oil. Massage it on your abdomen for menstrual cramp relief. This will also help regulate your cycle & balance hormones. I read that you can blend clary sage with honey in tea daily to regulate periods. It will also help with hot flashes and any other menopausal difficulties.
Can someone please use this & let me know how it goes??

I am in love with rose water. Not only does it smell beautiful and refreshing, I use it after I wash my face and I feel amazing. It is great for skin, hair & food. It's an anti-inflammatory and is a rich source of antioxidants. It improves your skin tone & elasticity, moisturizes, it can also prevent or even help sun damage.

Theo developed thrush at 2 weeks and I didn't know since I didn't have any symptoms yet & there were only a couple of spots in his mouth that I assumed was just from milk. Then it started to hit me. I didn't consider it a severe case yet. We started out using what the dr. prescribed. It was Nystatin, the common go-to. I was using the prescription for Theo & myself but I knew there had to be a natural remedy to use. I read from a few articles that Nystatin is sugar-based & obviously yeast thrives on sugar, but I thought I would still give the prescription a chance, since I did pay for it. It didn't clear up fully. I read from the link below that grapefruit seed extract works well. I found it at Vitamin Shoppe. I used that along with the prescription until it was gone. There was still signs of it in his mouth, so I continued using this method. It seems to be doing very well. I think we've passed it back and fourth a few times, but I am happy with it.
I just found this remedy today, so I may try it if there's any sign of it again. Thank you, Alexis.
This is my favorite stain solution that I've used. I've put this on hand-me-downs that had previous stains and it worked. Dawn dishsoap, hydrogen peroxide & baking soda really works wonders! This link shows the parts per batch, mix it up, put on the stain, brush & let sit for an hour. Wash and "tada," as Izzy says!
It seems like this was the summer of poison ivy, which had a rash that just wouldn't go away. I recently made Jake a "potion" that helped the itch. It provided the most relief compared to Ivy Dry & Caladryl. It consisted of distilled water, apple cider vinegar, kosher salt, lavender eo, melaleuca (tea tree eo) & peppermint eo. I've linked the exact recipe I used.
